KURSUS FIRST AID

Sesiapa yang berminat nak mengikuti kursus ni bolehla menghantar nama kepada saya secepat mungkin. Kursus ini dijadualkan untuk diadakan pada awal semester depan S1'2010. INTRODUCTION

Basic First Aid is the next step into first aid after the introductory course. It aims to give a more comprehensive coverage on the understanding and practical guidance as well as the theoretical aspects of first aid to the RC/RC Volunteers and the public based on the concept of prevention .It is important that individuals know Basic First Aid and CPR to become a certified First Aide to use the knowledge in giving assistance , saving the lives of victims and disseminate the knowledge to the community.

THE SYLLABUS
To produce First Aides in the Malaysian community , create awareness in safety first , the spirit of helping others and of healthy living. Understand the concept of First Aid and the needs of the body and is ever ready to give a helping hand in times of need to fellow Malaysian and humanity.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
It helps the community to gain access to First Aid knowledge and health care.
Knowledgeable in the workings of the human body and are able to take better care of it.
Know the causes of minor illness and ways to treat them.
Create a caring society, willing to help fellowmen in times of needs.

  • Respiratory system
  • Asphyxia
  • Shock
  • Electrical injuries
  • Snake , Animal Bites & Insect Stings
  • Wounds & Bleeding
  • Broken Bones
  • Joints & Muscle Wounds
  • Dressing & Bandages
  • Burns And Scalding
  • Poisoning
  • Fits
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Moving The Victim

FIRST AID COURSES
Every Month effected February 2008

1st week (Sat,Sun) - Basic First Aid - RM 250 per person
3rd week (Sat) - Introduction to First Aid & CPR - RM 150 per person

Place : Malaysian Red Crescent National Headquarters
Time : 8.30 a.m - 5.30 p.m

*** There will be theory and practical examination for certification ***
